As per the forum discussion, my Fossil repo is set to allow anonymous users to self-register. However, the registration is failing with ver 2.14 and my current settings.

The actual problem is that the new registry is not entered into the user table, but it's unclear why. Details are in the forum post mentioned above.

Cannot reproduce the problem. We cannot fix what works.

Note that self-hosting Fossil repository allows self-registration, as does the Fossil Forum. Those seem to be working fine.

I'm sorry it does not work for you. But without a reproducible test case there isn't much we do to fix it. Writing a ticket does not help.
